Sodom – The Struggle Within This week, the North American Metal giants METALLICA celebrate the 20th birthday of the long acclaimed "Black Album". Released in 1991, their fifth album was a defining moment from the heavy metal giants. Produced by Bob Rock and released through Elektra Records, it saw huge critical acclaim across the board and brought metal and thrash into a new era, entering the top of the charts in more than 10 countries. But despite huge commercial success and acclaim, it wasn’t an easy ride for the band to make. The band will be releasing a 20th Anniversary tribute album, with cover tracks from a wealth of special guests - and the band will be playing a series of 30th anniversary shows at the Fillmore in San Fransisco in December to celebrate the conception of Metallica in the early 1980s. And besides all that, they're even collaborating with Lou Reed, who says the album he's currently recording with them is "awe-inspiring" and "the best thing done by anyone, ever." Debates over which of Metallica’s albums are the best continue to rage on between fans, but no one can doubt the significance of the black album. With songs like "Enter Sandman", "Nothing Else Matters" and "Sad But True", it will remain in the canon of great music for decades to come. ♪ Download: Single Extraction, No Password ♪ ♪♪ Please VOTE & Comment!
